What is Birmingham Therapy Rooms about?
Birmingham Therapy Rooms provides rooms to therapists and practitioners on a flexible hire basis, enabling them to deliver treatments to their clients in modern and professional environment.
How do I book a room?
You can book a room or treatment space online through our online bookings system or by contacting us. Bookings can only be made by therapists registered with us.
Can I view the rooms before I register?
Yes, please get in touch with us as viewings are by appointment only.
How do I become a registered therapist with Birmingham Therapy Rooms?
To become a registered Birmingham Therapy Rooms therapist we need the following:
- details of you, your business and details of the treatments you will be delivering;
- copies of relevant qualifications and insurance for yourself and anyone else working on the premises for you;
- premises license from Birmingham City Council;
- confirmation that you will adhere to our terms and conditions.
Do I have to commit to a regular booking?
No, our bookings are completely flexible. For example, you could sign up to our shortest available hire session which is only for two hours, this can booked as a one off or a regular session (subject to room availability) dependant on your requirements.
Do I have to sign a contract?
For short term bookings we provide you with terms and conditions which we expect therapists to follow. This is similar to a code of conduct which sets out expectations on both sides.
What are your opening hours?
We are open Monday to Saturday from 7.00 am to 9.00 pm and Sunday from 11.00 am to 5.00 pm. Our opening hours are restricted by the opening hours of Great Western Arcade which can be viewed at www.greatwesternarcade.co.uk. So please note that the Arcade operates restricted hours at Christmas and public holidays.

Early bird 07:00 – 10:00
Mid-morning 10:00 – 12:00
All morning 07:00 – 12:00

All afternoon 12:00 – 17:00
Evening 17:00 – 19:00

What are your prices?
Prices are available on online booking system or by contacting us.
Are there discounts available?
Discounts are available for part time bookings (minimum of 1 day/week) over three months or more.
How do I book a room for regular sessions or for longer period of time e.g. for 6 months?
We would recommend you contact us as we offer discounts on longer terms through a license agreement.
Are rooms available for exclusive use
Yes. You will need to book the room on a full time basis in order to secure exclusive use.
Can my clients book appointments with me through Birmingham Therapy Rooms?
No – we just book you a treatment room/space. Treatment bookings should be made directly with therapists. It is up to you to book and administer your own clients. We do not hold any of your client details and cannot be responsible for cancellations, no-shows, etc.
Do you have a receptionist?
Currently we only have reception cover on Saturdays and Mondays. Full time reception cover will be introduced in the near future.
Is there somewhere for my clients to wait?
Yes, we have a comfortable waiting area on the first floor. This air conditioned area has armchair seating, filtered water and product displays. Wi-fi and toilet facilities are available for customers’ use.
What is your cancellation policy?
Bookings may be cancelled with the following refunds (less £5 administration fee per booking):
- Less than 24 hours notice – 0% refund.
- 24-48 hours notice – 25% refund.
- 48 hours to 2 weeks notice – 50% refund.
- 2 weeks to one month notice – 75% refund.
- More than one month notice – full refund.
Will you market my business?
You will need to do your own marketing. However we will do the following:
- place your promotional material in our reception area and client waiting area;
- if you are a regular client we will put your details on our website so clients can contact you directly.
Is there anywhere for a therapist to take a break?
Yes, we have a staff room with a kitchen area including crockery, cutlery, microwave, sink, toaster and kettle.
Will you take payments from my clients on my behalf?
No, you must take your own payments from your own clients. We do have free Wi-Fi for practitioners so you can take payments using your own facilities.
What happens if my client doesn’t show up?
Client no-shows and cancellations are your responsibility. We do not provide refunds for cancellations.
Do you keep details of my clients?
No, your clients are all yours! We only keep details of our own clients and the therapists/practitioners registered at Birmingham Treatment Rooms.
